My understanding, from another post here on Beoworld that explained the new software is that even on a non-24p panel, i.e. a BV7 MKIII there would still be improvement. Not true 24fprs in the traditional sense but a simulated 24fprs for lack of a better description. Also, reading Alex's post I thought he was a dealer. If so, I wonder if the 65 inch

I assume from your post that your dealer is here in the US? I hope you are correct and that is what the a stands for. Our new BV7 is to be delivered a week from today and I really would like the new software to be installed at that time.

Another Serene problem....I was retrieving email on my Serene recently on two occasions when the screen went blank. Without touching anything the screen comes back and the phone returns to normal condition, but my email account has been deleted and I must re-enter the information. Anybody else had this experience?

It seems then that it is not possible to use the two link speakers also as speakers in a surround sound set up, at least not with the present wiring...ie no masterlink connection in the room, just two powerlink and ir receiver on the wall.

Isn't the B and O in the A4 like that in the A5, not the A8?....i.e. no rising acoustic lens speakers. I have heard the B and O in the A5 and yes it is worth the price, in my opinion. Here in the US the B and O in the A5 is about 1/10 the price of the system in the A8.
