Does this mean that you know more than you say, Peter?? It sure would be logical if B&O included the SD-Card-Reader into this player, as they have done with BS2, BS3 and BS4. But on the other hand, there is an MP3 player with SD card, so why shouldn't the new one only have intergrated memory?!

I think this is a good idea. As long as it does not cost anything but can provide some publicity, we/ you have nothing to lose. Here is the adress of a german music/ hifi magazine I'm reading: fonofroum@nitschtke-verlag.de . The editor also issues a magazine called "stereo".

I have seen that cover before, I think it came out 2-3 months ago.

soundproof: kawo: At least from my point of view SACD and DVD-Audio have no future exept in a very small niche. To be honest, I don't miss them at all as the current CD-fomrat has so much potential if the tonmeister has done his job... Karsten Pity really, that the formats didn't build from the start. Most serious classical or jazz releases

I may repeat myself, but I want to say it again, this is a wonderfull thread (HRH ) Andy! I think this is the post that lot's of those (us) who stayed at home have been waiting for! Thank you Andy!

If B&O would have wanted to jump onto the SACD train, they could and would have done that some time ago. I don't think there will ever be a B&O SACD player.
-
Daniel: Maybe it was the Samsung version? The Samsung version of the Serene sure is cheaper than the B&O version, but is it that cheap?
-
Bon, je crois que le fait de ne pas fournir de télécommande avec les produits n'est rien d'autre qu'une augmentation des prix qui ne dit pas son nom!
-
Very good idea, Andy! Keep on!
