  • Re: Beolink Passive v Third party amp

Not a Noddy question actually. My initial reaction was fully wired powerlink from the Overture to the Beolink passive but this would have control implications. Your Ouverture is in Option 0 and the keyboard is dead and the remote is controlling volume via the Beovision. It would work but you would not have independent control on the passives and the

  • Re: Beosystem 2500 cpu

The remote won't work if you are in option 0 neither will most of the keyboard although some buttons do work. You need to set it to option 1 as suggested. On your Beolink 1000 press STDBY, SOUND, 1, STORE or on a Beo4 remote press STDBY and LIST together then LIST until OPTIONS is displayed then GO then LIST until A-OPT then 1. Better if you have

wirralsimon: joeyboygolf: Whatever the story is with this particular TV, it's actual value is pretty near zero. Like Peter, I would walk away.....unless it was a gift and even then it would need to fit in the back of my car and have a working remote. That's maybe a little harsh. If the price was up to around £100 with the remote included

A 50hz model cannot be changed for a 100hz model. I can believe that the tube was replaced with a later model from the tube manufacturer as there was a known problem with early 28in Avant tubes. Whatever the story is with this particular TV, it's actual value is pretty near zero. Like Peter, I would walk away.....unless it was a gift and even then

  • Re: Beosystem 2500 CD Engagement

There are no real adjustments one can make other to the lever mechanism. If it has just left the repairers and they took it apart then they should put it back together properly. I would send it back to them at their expense!

  • Re: Beocenter 9000 & CD5500

It works in AUX in as much as you can get the thing to play through the BC9000 but IIRC you have to force it via the keyboard. I don't recall ever using a remote as all I was interested in at the time was "is the CD50/5500 a good'un or did it require the service dept" or put another way "could I sell it this week or have I got

Mico: I am sorry but it disturbs me that people who do not have personal experience comment on issues like this. It is always hearsay to me. Based on my personal >20 years experience (and increasing) about BC9000 I would say that BV5000s are really excellent, their looks is still up to date, RL 60.2.s are also excellent (depending on installation
