Bv7Mk3 I am looking forward to it. We were very luck with the Beolab 9s in that we happened to visit the store at a time when they had a pair that had been on display for one month that they were selling at a 40 % discount.

Our BV7 is being delivered Wednesday, hopefully along with the new software. We have 9s in front and 1s in the rear. I am very eager to hear how they sound with the BV7 and BL7-4 in place of our current Avant.

We already have 2 Beo 4s. Dealer wants $650 for Beo 5 plis $199 to program it at our house when the BV7 is delivered.

My understanding is that 12 speakers plus two subwoofers can be connected. They are connected in pairs, in series, using the dual power link connections on the speakers and then the left/right switch on the speakers is used.

Thanks for the comments! They sound like the the exact thoughts I was having after reading the manual. In particular the comment about distance to the dealer. My dealer is three hours away and while I am in town to visit them frequently, they say they need to come to my home to program the Beo 5.

We are having a new BV7 delivered next week. I am trying to decide whether to have the dealer also deliver and program a Beo 5. What advantages would I have with a Beo 5 over a Beo 4? Our set up will consist of BV7, Beosound 3000, and speakers in one room, Masterlink to another room with speakers and an Avant, and Masterlink to Beoport and PC and speakers

Russ, what did you see it on? BV7/9/4? Did you see any difference/improvement in the picture?

What would happen if I connected the power link connections I currently have in the wall to one set of inputs on the speakers and then connected the front speaker out from the Avant to the second powerlink input on the speakers? I understand that they are designed for daisy chaining, but if I activated just the Avant, would the input from the masterlink

Alex, I am being told that 4.24 is not yet available in the US. I just wanted to confirm that you are a dealer and that it is in fact available to all US dealers now for download such that I can in fact have it installed on our new BV7 next week when it is delivered. Thanks!
