No, it shouldn't. The 8000s have their own protection built in. All the different settings do is just allow different amounts of bass through. I personally have always preferred it on it's lowest setting, even with BeoLab 1s.

I like the pictures, but I'm not sure how it'll look in real life. I'll wait and see...

Ideally, you'd find your local dealer and ask if their installer(s) can come round and get everything working. B&O kit is not as simple to wire up as other stuff, and you may be missing a few bits & pieces...

It would be nice if Apple allowed addons for the AppleTV. Being able to stream to the aTV just like an AirportExpress would be great...

The AppleTV interface is about to change completely, for the better within the next few weeks. Apple are COMPLETELY refreshing the interface (while FrontRow in OS X will stay the same). They're also adding the ability to rent movies in DVD quality and/or HighDefinition with Dolby Digital 5.1, which you won't be able to do with a MacMini. I like my aTV

Haven't seen the transformer from a BL2, but the driver is definitely very impressive. The magnet other bits on the driver are much bigger than I thought they would be for a 9" unit.

I actually think that's more to do with the ABRs, and not the driver on the front. The driver at the front actually seems very good, although the chassis seems a little spindly in comparison to other big subwoofer drivers. It's got a double spider though, which helps it act more like a 'perfect piston'.
