Very nice amp is the 5500, one of my favourite Beomasters due to the plethora of connections both DIN & RCA which makes it very versatile. Do you have a Beolink1000 remote? If not then I would advise getting one for everyday use as the MCP is quite cumbersome and eats batteries. Chris.

Welcome to Beoworld, and thank you for supporting the site with your silver membership There is a correct sequence for attaching a motorised stand so the TV recognises it. Start from scratch by unplugging the stand from the TV then disconnect the power to the TV. Plug the stand cable back into the TV then restore power. Chris.

If you have never done this type of work before then I would

Ah, they were yours were they Alex? Saw 'em myself and was tempted (particularly the mint pair) but there's no way I'd convince her indoors that we need yet more speakers. Don't lose faith Alex, they will sell but these style of speaker seem to have ups & downs on eBay for no apparent reason. Chris.

Jandyt: 32" RF DVD, £500! I would bite his hand off! Me too! Go back and grab it before someone else does, you may even get a few months warranty thrown in Chris. EDIT, having thought about this, it may well be that the customer who traded it in used the £500 discount voucher for a working TV trade in against a new BV. In that case

A common problem and can be found throughout this site HERE is just one of many threads covering this. Welcome to Beoworld. Chris.
