The world stock markets are doing a high-wire balancing act these days, without a net. Any kind of negative news are pushing shares down -- and the decline in retail sales this December must have been decisive for B&O. They had projected a 15% growth and achieved 8%, and that's what it took. But I'm not saying the reaction wasn't warranted

Next week. The Keynote will be available live over the net, from various sources. Macrumors.com: We will be providing live coverage of Steve Job's Keynote at MacWorld San Francisco on Tuesday, January 15th, 2008 at 9am PST (UTC - 8) . That's Pacific Standard Time. I've been told there are major news when it comes to content downloads, BluRay

Hi Peter, I understand your frustration, though I'm not entirely certain whether you have a legitimate complaint when it comes to the iPhone syncing. Most hardware providers do state compatibility with other equipment, and in many instances there are limitations when it comes to what plays with what. (Just ask Vista users who have had to upgrade

At CES Pioneer just revealed their 9mm thick Plasma screens. Yes, you read that right - 9mm thick. Here you have one placed in front of a regular plasma frame. I'm not convinced that a 500kg tv-set is the solution the world is looking for.

Beologisch - do you use Apple products? I've been using aluminium Macs for years now. I actually even had a Titanium one -- and any CE manufacturer in the world should count itself lucky to have a designer as enlightened as Ive, working together with a CEO as brilliant as Jobs. And seriously, though I'm pleased that Apple is now gaining adherents

Should be interesting to hear what Mr Jobs has to say on the 15th, in his Keynote at MacWorld -- rumours fly that BluRay implementation in Macs will be one of the tidbits, and that would fit in nicely with all the content providers coming to the BluRay camp now. Btw - to all the speculations as to who will buy whom -- a Sony/Apple alliance is a lot

moxxey: jazz: I'm stunned by the negative attitude of many of the posters on this web site about this new product. Or am I?? We are not being negative. We're just a little worried about direction, pricing and who they are trying to target. You'll (or I have) notice there seem to be an increase in negativity lately, for a good reason. We're

Yup, that's been indicated in other posts, in both cases it's Lewis working with the square and the triangle. With the AV9000 having empty space motifs where the BV1 is solid between the two shapes. I can see the logic.

This one I haven't seen in the flesh, and as Alex says, I'm reserving judgement. I remember my reaction to the photos of the BeoSound 4, and my subsequent delight with the actual product ... Clearly inspired by BeoVision 1, the BeoLab 10 - in my case it would be a question of whether I would want to relinquish the floor-space, as I get the notion

355f: Alex: As Peter has said, it's not an issue with the hardware, but a software issue in the TV. Wait a bit, and if the BeoSystem 3 is anything to go by, the BeoVision 7-40 should be stunning even with SD. With the LCD development I have been involved with we have been unable to resolve the issue regarding poor SD quality. If it was a basic software
