beocool: Bright Eyes - I'm wide awake, it's morning Great album... Currently listening to Deacon Blues by Steely Dan from the album Aja . Superb musicians and very very well recorded.

Here's an idea. Why not move the BeoSound 2300 with the attached BeoLab 2500s to another room, such as in a kitchen etc... and link this to the BeoVision 8. The connect a nice new pair of speakers to the BeoVision 8 and you can still access the BeoSound 2300 in the lounge despite it being in a different room?

I wouldn't connect them both! Personally I believe music comes with two channels of audio for a good reason. The musicians/engineers have mixed it to be heard on two speakers not four. Even if you do prefer the sound of two pairs of speakers (which to me sounds vague), you'll be mixing two completely different sounding pairs of speakers which is absolutely

A BeoSystem 3 would be best as it supports up to four surround sound speakers I believe, along with two main ones for 7.1 surround sound. Add in a centre channel (such as a pair of BeoLab 5000s behind an acoustically transparent screen) and you'll have a proper cinema setup...

Do post more pictures when you're done Keith. It looks very extensive. Personally, I'd like to see a BeoCenter 2 of TVs for something large. Short of a projector screen, you can't really do much to make a large TV disappear. The whole 'subtle design' thing works on small TVs, like the BeoCenter 6, and I'd say goes up to about 40", but from there on

Strangely, the higher the number, the lower it's overall output, so 3 would be the setting I'd usually use it on. Now somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I also believe the different settings have different cutoff frequencies? Not entirely sure on this though...

John Mayer - Vultures . Continuum is a brilliant album, I've been enjoying it a lot recently.

You could give symlinking a try. Linky It behaves on a lower level than Aliases, so it *should* work. If not, just set iTunes to use your external HDD for music & movies, and rip the movies with HandBrake . I have quite a few movies ripped with HandBrake, and iTunes allows you to modify the artwork which will then be displayed in FrontRow and on the

I disagree with all of the points except the last one about the prize draw. Others have said they're not worried and believe Lee knows what he's doing. Well, I do too. What I'm worried about is that Lee may be being too polite and to worried to let down members by having to cut back on the prizes. Even if the top prize was a BeoSound 3 or similar each
