Here's an idea. Why not move the BeoSound 2300 with the attached BeoLab 2500s to another room, such as in a kitchen etc... and link this to the BeoVision 8. The connect a nice new pair of speakers to the BeoVision 8 and you can still access the BeoSound 2300 in the lounge despite it being in a different room?

I wouldn't connect them both! Personally I believe music comes with two channels of audio for a good reason. The musicians/engineers have mixed it to be heard on two speakers not four.
