Ian: Can you use a Beo4 on a TV (i.e. BV1 / BC1) that came with a Beo1? Ian Pretty sure you can select between Beo1 and Beo4 in the setup menu. Craig

Thanks Martin, I thought they were different from looking at pictures of both speakers. Worth checking though as I have a pair I could of taken the tweeter out of. Craig

Medogsfat: Wasn't it just the 32" BV3 that shared the Avant chassis Craig? I'm pretty sure the 28" BV3 was an entry level TV, I know you like yours Craig but to be honest the styling of the BV3 never quite cut the mustard with me - dunno why... Chris. Chris you are correct, the BV3-32 has the same chassis as the Avant. Where the BV3

The potentiometer forms part of the tonecontrol in a pretty comprehensive circuit so I would prefer to get the correct value. Besides, the ones listed there seems to have the rotary type of switch and to stay as close to the original as possible I
sadly 1Mohm potentiometers with a built-in push-pull mains switch are no longer off-the-shelf parts
Martin, is there any way of changing the resistance of the potentiometer? For example could you find one that had the built in switch but a different resistence? My reason for asking was I was odering some parts
