Hi Richard, Welcome to Beoworld ! 1. It won't work. The mains frequency is used inside the Beogram and the transformer modules differ, not only in voltages. You need a correct module. 2. There's also the two electrolytic caps right at the detector outputs. 4,7uF or so. They are often bad and will easily cause sensitivity problems with regards to stereo switching. And of course the caps on the MPX board itself. It's rarely the coil adjustments, so I suggest you leave those alone. Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! Sounds like a problem with one of the speakers or speaker leads. Can you tell if the problem is related to one speaker ? Try connecting only one speaker at a time. Martin

Re: The Beolit 39 Just realized that it's actually NOT one of my own photos but it is definitely a photo of the exact same radio. Since the foto is from a danish website, I suppose it must be the owners own photo from before the restoration then. What I don't understand though, is why you took one of the first photos from my Beolit 39 restoration thread where a knob is missing rather than one of the later where it is complete ? Another two of my favourites are the Master 40S and the Master Deluxe 40RG, the latter designed in the late 30's but looking like a typical
