jazz: i'm glad the war is over, but not totally convinced by the winner. I think bluray won because it has a cooler name (kidding) This does make me ask the question as to why we are persevering with discs at all. Within 12 months we will have SD cards with huge amounts of storage. I know that panasonic have just released a 32 gig card. While it's

the beosound 2 is out of date and is based on the fat 16 format which only allows 2GB on the card, unlike the BS4 which is fat 32 thus accepts 4GB. The beosound 2 is not reccomendable today, unless you want it to look nice and not be used. File transfer is slow, and using a card reader is annoying, sorry to be negative, but i think is was one of B&o's

Well i have BL2500's and i don't like them. They are ugly, and they sound average. Of course the BL4000 is under appreciated, they are mind blowingly good, i recommend finding another owner for the BL2500 and invest in BL4000's, they are not very expensive, second hand and you can wall mount then next to ouverture. Nice!

I suggest, get a decent mp3 player, ipods have unrealistic sound with yuppie equalisers, then again the Beosound 2 is the opposite, and sounds wonderful... so long as you don't like to

It looks silly with the BL5

Every B&O product i own has this trait, if you can't sense it from touching it, then rub your ear against a metal part of your B&O. Nothing to worry about, cozza and solderon29 has it in one, double insulation

The BL7.4 looks the same in both photos, it's your TV that looks too light (but the lighting is different). Honestly, the 7.4 appears darker in both photos mate. I saw the picture with the 7.2, and i am going to say that it's the vertical versus horizontal shape of the grille that makes the difference. The top of the horizontal speaker curve

It looks black! Definitely a question for your dealer, it's difficult to see the colour from these photos, because the flash affects how we see it.
