Agh! You're all so lucky! I SO want one of these systems. My girlfriend has promised to buy me one for my 30th birthday (which incidentally is in 1 year and 5 days time), but I really don't want to wait that long!!! :(

Craig: Well it's easy to take the back off but not sure about how you get to the sensor. Just checked and the service manual is on the site. Craig I better have a look then....!

Craig: Just a thought, but I wonder if there is a build up of dust around the remote sensor in the MX1500. Craig I tried polishing the transparent plastic in front of the sensor, but you might be right about something getting in behind. Is it easy to get the cover off to have a look?

Just had a weird experience with my MX1500 and Beolink 1000 remote. The Beolink stopped working unless held really close to the TV, so I assumed the batteries were flat. Replaced with a new set of batteries, but the same problem persists. There is a very small chance that the 'new' batteries are not so new, but I'm pretty sure they're
