Flappo The Grate: bno's attitude really is odd and reeks of misguided arrogance , no wonder theyre in so much trouble.. My local store has changed for sure. It's very much on a sales drive at the moment. I was doing my accounts yesterday and sorting out invoices and post from the last three months. The amount of sales literature I've received

Flappo The Grate: i guess peeps are more price sensitive than before and has been mentioned £15k is a LOT of dough for a tv , no matter how good And that B&O are one of the few (only?) retailers that won't offer any discount. I can walk in to a high-end jewellers and, push hard, you can secure a 20% discount, even if that's not advertised

joeyboygolf: Where have you lot all been for the last 2-3 months. Every retailers sales have been pathetic. Why do you single out B&O as having a particularly bad time? Not in Bath they aren't. Since end of November it's been manic. I've never seen it so busy. Almost as if someone has told them the entire centre will be closed from 5th

9 LEE: And yes, myself i prefer Porsche to Ferrari - but the Italian marque has more impact when making a point.. Depends on the point you want to make Lee. Whereas a lot of people would think it's amazing to have and own a Ferrari, strangely the same people think that a B&O TV is totally overkill. Personally, I'd rather have the BV9 than

plagente: BV9 is the only B&O TV that worth the money because.. This is just your opinion. There are others who love the design of the BV8. I own a BV8 and, although I'd regard it as 'average' in terms of design, the PQ is decent and definitely did represent value-for-money based on the amount I paid for the TV. I disagree with your

The only downside with the BV9 for me is that you are somewhat forced to have a HDR2 and Beomedia 1 (or used to be) as part of the 'price'. Problem is that these components would be factored in to this price. I don't need either - if they could be removed, and reduce the price, then it would be far better value for money. Difficulty is that

That's what happens when you post first thing in the morning :) Back at work today, officially, but getting work done isn't proving easy..

csmager: They'll have to at some point! I'm only saying what I'd read in another thread. No, and that's the big problem with this board - spreading rumours. The BS3 isn't getting a hardware upgrade (at least any time soon). This kind of rumour spreading is derogatory to sales as people hold off purchasing on the basis that an upgrade

csmager: With B&O bringing out a rumoured BS3 MkII shortly They are? That's not true.

martin01: We dont have to argue anymore about the sound-quality with HD-audio in beosystem 3. But the intrerest thing is that 355f will not explane HOW he has done his tests (in detail) to get his conclusion that BS3 not fully support HD-audio with decoded PCM-sound (from a bluray-player). He just says that BS3 DOES NOT support it. So why can you (355f
