  • Re: Serene and Serenate phones? What would you expect from phones in this price range?

mobeyone: Personally, I think both are a waste of money. OK, the Serene is not bad but the Serenata is just awful imo. Ugly, too big and more of a portable music player than a phone. Both cases B&O missed the point of the mobile phone/mp3 player. I own an iphone (have also owned an 8800/50), and to me the iphone think ticks all the boxes for what

Serene : unparrallelled simplicity, individuality and wow-style, but quite delicate and with a poor camera Serenata : Beautiful feel, alot more practical and functional, not for me, a little cumbersome, beautiful, but still annonymous looking - along with a nice sounding little (unnecessary) speaker IMHO the iPhone is very clever, but stressful to use

  • Re: Post of gratitude

Hehe! Sure, why not eh! The oldest B&O i've had was an overture and it was pretty special, but nothing beats the BV3 32, best TV under $10k HANDS DOWN :)

  • Post of gratitude

I feel the need to say a few cents here, even if it's WAY off track and doesn't make sense... For those of us here who may sometimes lose ourselves in the myriad of B&O stimulus and tiny details, i wanted to take a moment to step back and personally say how grateful i feel to have the privilege of owning and experiencing a host of B&O

  • Re: Gobsmackingly good prizes WOW!

Ah well, thought so! I would happily re subscibe, but i don't believe in credit cards, and the last time i subscribed, i used my partners card. Yeah Thanks, the move went well, none of my children were hurt (bloody lucky considering i didn't hire removalists)

  • Re: Used BV7-32 - Any Opinion?

A nice B&O crt would match better in my opinion! AV9000, AVANT, BV3, MX etc etc ;) Better picture + less cost - win win!

  • Re: Prices of used B&O; Ironic?

Hey such a good point to raise! Well, thats technology for ya isn't it. Speakers havent changed, but tv's have, i guess it's good for us who aquire a used beovision and love it, because it is storming good value WOW, i look down on those who think a $2k lcd screen is just as good, if not nicer than my BV3-32 which cost me $2k. Because that

  • Re: Beolab 4000s.

The 4000's really capable, fabulous sounding loudspeakers, and they are wonderful value (when you have found the right spot for them), i bought a pair on ebay, and they were scratched, so i went to my dealer and paid a small fee to replace the grilles and one of the aluminium panels - and i affixed it myself carefully, it was simple, and worth it
