Concernant l'absence de lecteur CD, il faut rappeler 2 choses: Le Beosound 5 peut s'utiliser en meme temps qu'une autre chaine B&O compatible N.MUSIC, qui elle fera CD et Radio. Une autre solution pour lire les CD est de le mettre dans un lecteur de DVD. Cela dit j'aurait aussi prefere qu'il y ai un lecteur de CD integré

Which B&O hifi have you got? Some of them have a line level entry which would not need any adaptor. p.

So Beocenter 2 + Beoport as a TV... I am not sure that will work. Or there will be many quirks if it does. As a general recommandation, I would say that a link room should only have one device... You need more rooms ;-)

Alex: As a standalone product, yes, it will work. However, you can't have both of them on the same link system as link masters, just as you couldn't have two BeoSound 4000s. That is not true, you can set the BS5/BM5 as audio master or not. If not it can be on the same ML system as a N.MUSIC compatible Beosound or Beocenter. P.

I think what Alex want to say is that if you look at the features only, nothing would justify buying a BC9000 or a BC2. It is not the features that makes a B&O product, but the design, elegance, usablility, etc... Hopefully it will be the same with BS5, in term of features, it does the same as an iPod, an Airport Express or another digital juke
