The transport screws are unlikely to be the problem. More likely malfunctioning capacitor on the CD servo board. There is much information about this on the forum if you search "c2103" Oh, welcome to the forum!

philball: Any suggestions on cleaning the lens without using a disc cleaner as I've read here that they're not recommended You are better off reading the instructions and the pictures describing cleaning the laser in the service manual. It's not a job I'd want to describe over the phone never mind on a forum!

The AUX is input and output. This is a pretty standard config. The same connection system works with, say, the AUX on a BC2300 and Masterlink socket on the Avant. Works fine if you can't afford dedicated active speakers.

I suggest that you need a Beolink converter. You can then use this to connect the Masterlink socket on the Beocenter 6 with the AUX socket on the 9500.

Nick12345: and how do I get the plastic cover off the tv in the first place? You are a gold member so can I suggest that you download the service manual where you will find comprehensive instructions!

Could be dust on the cd lens. You are a silver member so suggest that you download the service manual and go through the cd test programme. Instructions for cleaning are also in the manual. Suspect it is something to do with the environment that you use it in.

The only real source of wall brackets is eBay. They do come up every now and again but are getting much harder to find as the months go by. Same with speaker drivers, although you could try a PM to member Dillen on this forum who may have some used ones in stock.

Yes there will appear to be pressure on the CD mechanism from the door. This is quite normal. There are several possible reasons for your problem. Dirty or incompatible cd's, bad capacitors on the cd servo board, faulty laser are but three possibilities. Assuming that you have played these cd's before with no problems then we are now coming
