Yes, I can supply a new CD tray motor belt for the Beogram CD5500, CD6500 and CD7000 Instructions can be included. It's replaced in 4 minutes. Martin

If you can find the dealer who originally sold the system and confirm the true ownership with him, I suppose that would do. Otherwise - no luck. It's only a bad experience because someone threw away the code. It's a fact that Bang & Olufsens newer products are so sought after, also by people who cannot afford to buy them, that they get stolen

The ones currently for sale in Denmark were of the newer type S45, they were not S55. The original woofer in the S55 is 6.4 Ohms. Hardly replaceable with anything else with good results. Martin

Yes, but the hardest part is putting it all back together without damaging the coil or its former. The center piece will inevitably pull to the side unless not allowed to move sideways at all and the magnet will smack onto the chassis or pull it towards itself unless the last 5-6cm travel is heavily restricted and the chassis fixed in some form of gig

1. This is normal. The tonearm does not return automatically after playing. 2. Yes but only in danish. The adjustments are very similar to those of the Beogram 1200. 3. These are rare. I am not sure if I have one. 4. Sadly no. Martin

Sounds like it could need servicing. The amplifier is one large chip so not very hard to replace but I would measure around a little first if I was to repair it. It could be a power supply fault too. Or both. Martin
