I concur, but I would rather get the BL8000 for front speakers than get a subwoofer.

They are "dummies" for sure.

A few years ago my parents had a similar problem with their BC2300, the glass doors where constantly open. Not such a good idea when having the player on it's stand, resulting in my parents knocking off the glass doors completetly... Peter, Option number 2 was my second option. The BS5 makes no sense to me, and the BS 9000 makes all the sense in the world.
