Puncher: Do it Yourself - The Seahorses. I'd lost the CD ages ago but it turned up, as if by magic, yesterday. I'm enjoying listening to it again - I'd forgotten what a good album it is. I remember getting very excited when 'Love is the Law' was released as the first single from this album, as I've always been a massive Stone

beocool: Thanks everyone for your replies. I already have a Beolink 7000 (bought it last week) and even though it's not the easiest remote to use I love it. I will use the system with passive speakers but I will change to Beolab's in the not distant future. With your information I know what to look for: A Beosystem 6500 or 7000. Good stuff.

beocool: I always loved the stacked Beosystems. I want to buy one of these and have a simple question: Which is the one to have: 5000, 5500, 6500 or 7000? Depends what you want to use it for/with. The 5000 differs from the 5500/6500/7000 in that it can only use the MCP 5000 and Terminal 5000 remotes. If you have, or would like to own, either a Beolink

Edwardo: Hi Craig, Thanks for comments. I tried them first but when I gave them the serial nos etc they said that they couldn't get the bits and there was no real point in their engineer coming out to look at it. Ed I'd try Tim Jarman if I were you Ed. I'm sure he'll be able to fix it. John

Not in your direct vicinity, but I can recommend Tim Jarman highly. He is in Farnborough, and can be contacted through www.beocentral.com

Edwardo: When my system has been switched on for more than 15 minutes, whatever it is doing, i.e. playing a CD, the system reverts to program 3 radio setting. If I switch it off it switches itself back on to progam 3 again. The only thing I can do is to remove the plug. My local dealer says they haven't got parts and it is not worth lookig at. Can

moxxey: j0hnbarker: You may be in such a lofty financial position.. Incidentally – how would I improve the BV7? Get a better panel... John, FYI I bought my Panerai after my Father's death last year, as my Mother wanted us to buy something to remind us of him. It's not a case of being in a 'lofty position'. My example is justified

moxxey: j0hnbarker: Oh dear…..what a really lame post this is. John, and I concur that your post is equally as 'lame' if you believe that the BV7-40 MKIII isn't a) a quality TV made of some of the best components and b) can be bettered with a HD-sourced signal. FYI most Panerai's were based until recently on a standard off-the

moxxey: The Beonic Man: I beg to differ Jack. I bought an Avant 32 RF DVD (not your preference I know) for my Mum about a year ago, I then bought a 7-40 later in the year for myself. Its the latest version, the Mark III and the picture quality when it displays a high quality digital signal or an HD signal leaves the Avant behind by miles.. Simon, I'm

symmes: I think it comes to the fact that when one has made to purchaseultimately one will do anything to defend it- each to his own but itwould be nice if the comments were factual-this is the same with cars ofcourse Geez, along with the expertise in consumer electronics and engineering comes social psychologist? How about internet troll? 355f, you
