It appears the problem is with the stand or the TV, not with the remote, unfortunately.

1) No, when used from the TV, using the PC source, the Beomaster looks and behave like the Beomedia. This is a disappointment I have to admint. You can download the Beomedia user guide on this site to see how it works. It is far from being as nice as the BS5, but you have added features, such as Photo, Web, Video. 2) No the wheel on the Beo5 is only

Exactly, The LC2 timer is stored in the Hifi, not in the remote. You need a compatible hifi. BC2300 isn't. p.

kokomo: So if I'm correct, people have ordered or bought a Beosound 5 really having no idea how media will be successfully managed? It will work like the Beomedia 1.

If I want to connect a Beomedia 1 to a BV7, the PCG tells me I should connect them using a VGA to DVI adaptor. It does not tell me to connect a MasterLink cable, nor a Scart cable. Question... how does the TV control the Beomedia 1???? p.

Those TVs are then Video masters, as they are not linked... so they should not react to LINK commands.
