Sorry, I misunderstood your question. Its clear that I need to go back to school to improve my german. The only clicking you will get on any Beocom 6000 is with the dial.

Chris, If you are hearing clicks when you turn the dial, then we must assume the battery is fine because the click noise comes from the speaker. If there is no display or dialtone when you press the handset button, then the phone almost certainly has a fault. If this is the case a replacement PCB would be required. However, if this is a Mark II version

Interesting project, unless you are willing and know how to write a device driver, then using your spare Beoport is not an option. I think you have a few options you may wish to consider, but the one I would look into first is using "Crossover Linux 6.0" which would allow you to use Sconi V2 receiver which you say works under windows. Roger did indeed conclude that the "corrected" version does not contain a fix, but I did not read his posting until after I had post my response (Used the e-mail link created by your posting)

I am assuming that you are using your phones on the standard analogue PSTN (Public switched telephone network) and not via a converter/router ? Please confirm.. Assuming that you are using your Beocom's on a standard analogue phone line, then it is unlikely to be the phones themselves at fault. As the phones react to the "Ring Indicator"

Hans, There are two Lutron products which have B&O options and they are Homeworks and Grafik Eye 3000 Series. For either of the Lutron products to work with the Beo4 or Beo5 it MUST be a B&O compatible version, the standard Lutron units will not work with the Beo4 or Beo5. If you have one of the compatible Luton products, then the Lutron manual
