>>Could this remote be a "gem" in disguise?<< I posted this question few days back but nobody replied. Since the Beo5 will have limited function to control other devices without the B&O videosystem and PUC (at least this is how I understand the manual) it is not that interesting, Beo4 cinema is more appealing to me. However

The only reason why I would do BL4 are the placement options like the wall or ceiling mount. For sound, i think I would upgrade to BL4000. But then also since you are using it with a non B&O TV I would shop around with other brands, read non B&O unless you want to upgrade at some point to a full system by adding a BS4 or BS3000 or so. Did you

I think I agree, if you consider BL9 the BL4 will not hold up. I would probably then upgrade to the BL3 for the back. I like both Bl4 and Bl3 for rears because of their size. That said, I have not yet had a chance to listen to BL9. I do own though BL3/BL2 and am super hapy with it. Reason for not going bigger is that mist CDs I listen too are not recorded

If you are planning use the floor stand with the BL4, they do have the cable outside, not hidden inside as it is with the BL3 (third party solution is available

Do we have anything about this one? The Beo 5 is pretty much out there but I thought tehre would be a 2nd remote for the occasional user who doesn't have link rooms. Since I added a projector to my setup and sit in the dark quite frequently I really miss a keypad with backlight, but don't want to buy a Beo 4 Cinema. JK

I thought we had one member here who had 3 Lab 2s as wel. Nothing wrong with that for moving watching. For music it might be too much though ... Cheers JK

it looked to me like BV and speaker where fitted into the wall ... 2nd link doesnt work for me

I have the exact same thoughts as you. I am using actually a Beo4 controlled Imac connected to a projector, a 500$ Infocus IN72 non HD since I only watch DVD. Lamps run up 2000 to 3000 hours and are typicallly very expensive. They loose brighness so some actually change earlier. If you watch TV day in day out this would become quite expensive, but for
