avus17: Iown a loudspeaker combination 2x BL8000+BL2 sub-woofer. Can somebody tell me if it is worth to change the mentioned combination with two BeoLabs 9? Will I still ned a sub-woofer with BL9 or do they deliver enough bass? Trust me, you don't need the BL2 with the BL9s. I did have this combo for a while, but it had a slightly negative effect

akeithj: Thank you for the advice, it's been useful. I have heard of problems (not necessarily with B&O) of some 720p panels finding difficulty playing Blue Ray discs, the picture stuttering and jumping, a bit like when you are trying to view a video over the internet and you don't have sufficient bandwidth. I assume the BS 3 should be able

I'm assuming because that was a preview of the forthcoming BS5. In theory the tech specs and so on could change, so it's not been announced officially.

The_Beonic_Man: I meant the BL9 when I wrote BeoLab 9000. One too many glasses of wine this evening I think. BL5, BL3, all great products, the BL9s my favourite but that's only because they would suit my setup better than the others. Simon - check your PM. BL9's are good, but I didn't like them at all for music (via my Beosound 4). I had

None of the current Sound or Center's are key products. BC2 is close, but the socket box is too large for my liking. Detracts from the overall package. For me, this would have to be either the BL5, BL9 or BL3 speakers. BV7-40 (which I own), isn't quite good enough to be a classic.

DoubleU: I guess some people live in the wrong country. No, I have a 24 Mbps connection too, here in the UK. However, the problem is that a) most people (not everyone can justify or own B&O!) can't justify the cost or requirement so choose a 1Mbs broadband connection (yes, choose..) and b) you can only get 8Mbps or higher when you are relatively

akeithj: Does anyone know if there is a significant difference in picture quality between a Beovision 4 with BS 3 and a 720p screen compared to a Beovision 4 with BS 3 and a 1080p screen. I believe the standard def TV may be better on the 720p screen, but is there any loss of performance when viewing an HD source.? Bizarrely there have been three separate

jk1002: >> What about it? If it has a full HD panel, then B&O have made a bad decision. A 32" LCD screen doesn't need full HD. << They have a 720P screen in the BV8, which I am enjoying a lot. I can even stream Internet TV and its somewhat watchable. DVD is stunning. Same here. The only problem I have with my BV8 panel is that

koning: Samsung has a new backlighting, does this means that the new beovisions also get this new backlighting. AFAIK B&O TVs have their own backlighting? ie. this is an area where B&O are supposed to excel.

koning: What about the bv7-32 MKIV?! What about it? If it has a full HD panel, then B&O have made a bad decision. A 32" LCD screen doesn't need full HD.
