Just released this morning, the new software for Apple TV has interesting new features: • AirTunes Streaming from Apple TV: Music can be streamed via AirTunes to Airport Express speakers or other Apple TVs in your house. • Third-party Remote Controls: Apple TV can now learn other remote controls and use them in addition to the Apple Remote

Although designed to appear like the hifi itself, the Beosound 5 is in fact a big wired controler. It does nothing on its own. The Beomaster 5 does it all. BS5 and BM5 do not have any CD or DVD drive. You rip music and video on your computer and send them to the BM5's hard drive. You have 3 ways to control the BM5: - Using the BS5, with local controls

You would call it by pressing DVD2, from the main room or from the link room. It would operate in the same way locally and from the link rooms. Just like your integrated DVD. Why do you have some doubt? Why do you need an external DVD, the internal is not enough?

I think it is an available feature of the same version you have, have you looked in the bm-link preferences.

There is another way I just thought... INNOVUS is doing some LC2 compatible light controllers. They are operated in exactly the same way with the Beo4 remote. An they have all the same features (light pictures, etc...). On top of that they are z-wave compatible and they sell a PC sofware and a controler box to operate all this. It can also control other

Well they say they have the Surround module and you can see the connections on the last pictures. Were there any BV3 without powerlink??

I was more talking about the Apple experience here! Ideally the BS5/BM5 would have a CD drive and you would be able to rip by pressing the Record button on your Beo4, like it works for every other Beo product. The backup is another issue, if your house is on fire or get robbed, you might lose your back up as well. So there cannot be a good automated

1/ The Beosound 5 cannot play video, photos and web on its own screen and you can only navigate through N.MUSIC and N.RADIO through the Beosound 5 using the wheel. BUT the Beomaster 5 can do all this, when connected to your TV. I cannot remember the list of video codec on the top of my head. Beomedia had issues playing video files, I hope this will

And those with a Mac can use the wonderful time machine using their time capsule! Setup your backup in one click, once and for all, and forget about it until you've got to find that document that you have just deleted/lost/overwritten... Just bough 25 sounds of itunes, well not exactly bought, but upgraded them to iTune +, just in case I had to

Seen it! Yeah! It is available at most dealers in the UK now I believe. It was on display at Selfridges. Very elegant, very B&O, looks nice near a BV7 and other B&O kit. Looks better than on the pictures. The smooth way the wheel are turning and the way the real wheel enters the screen give you that immediate sensation that you have a B&O
