Some subs have dual (2) voice coils and will take both L and R...but just use a cheap $15 USD adapter off ebay from Powerlink to 2 RCA's and drive the sub. We did 2 subs and it was too much for anything but movies...even

Yes, you would get a 'mini-jack to phono' cable, and connect this into the phono sockets in the right hand side of your BV7. However, RE the use of a MacMini as a mediacenter, I have to say that having both a Mac running FrontRow (which is what the MacMini would run) and an AppleTV, the AppleTV is a MUCH smarter solution and works much better IMO..

It *should* work, although as I said, rather than use the 'output' connections at the end of the DIN > RCA cable (which is what you would expect to use), you would have to use the 'input' connections.

Craig: Alex: The BeoVision 3 has an Avant chassis Only on the 32", although as you have a 32" Avant I can't see you wanting a smaller screen. Craig True, although the chassis in the 28" (which I believe was originally from the BeoVision 1) is also very capable.

Buying a BeoVision 3 seems like a sensible idea to me, but try and get a recent one (not one of the first). The tube should last much longer. The BeoVision 3 has an Avant chassis, so they are essentially the same set inside (although the speakers are evidently different, as is the lack of a VCR/DVD player built in).

Looking at the wiring diagrams next to each other more closely, it looks as though you could just use a 5-pin DIN audio > phono (RCA) cable, and connect the 'Audio IN' connection to the Subwoofer instead of the 'Audio OUT' connection.

That picture only shows a powerlink T-adapter which turns a single powerlink connection into two (for example, connecting a pair of BeoLab 8000s to a B&O system which only has a single powerlink output). It's not the easiest thing in the world to do. You need to wire up a cable which adapts from powerlink to two phono (RCA) connections. I'd recommend
