I agree with you, Stan - there's not much need for a remote receiver on an "up-close" portable device, and if it had one (no problem technically, and not very expensive either), the forum would be full of questions on how to disable it! It would be highly annoying to have your Beosound 3 turn on as well when you want to listen to radio

I like the Type B's - almost bought me a pair for my 900M, but the price got silly and I gave up. Reviewing the seller feedback later, seemed I made a good decision... @Dave, I see you have a Master 38K as well - saves me from taking a picture that shows it better EDIT: Oh, this view might still be interesting.

Purely on the looks, I'd choose the MMC4000 over the black 20S. On the other hand it would be a shame to retip a cartridge that still gives decent service. I believe these cartridges have very little (if any) internal differences, so if you have the 20S retipped, I'd upgrade the stylus and you'll essentially have a better cartridge model
