Let's hope so Lee. I agree with one of the above posts that Chinese manufacturing doesn't neccessarily speak the the product's quality as it once did. I've been really pleased with my Apple products and it has never bothered me that they aren't made in Cupertino California. I've always been torn about Danish manufacturing "making

"All comming to a store near you- or in your case- your store within 12 months." Chinese manufacturing? Do you have a scoop? Otherwise I don't get the reference.

After a few threads where things got a bit heated, I got to thinking about the dilemma posed here, that while Bang & Olufsen has always been an expensive brand, recently they have become too expensive. I was wondering what, in forum members' opinions, could be done to lower Bang & Olufsen's prices without sacrificing quality? Apple was

That's interesting. I've only found the BeoSystem 3 to improve image quality or make little difference. I've had a few in the field with Sony Bravias, a few Pioneer Elites, and plenty of Panasonics. I'd say it made very little difference on the Sony, but it improved the pictures otherwise. I think it's important to focus on what

The BeoMedia can be set to respond to either V.AUX or PC. You can change this by going into the menus (RED, 9).

I have to agree here. I remember that as dealers we hemmed and hawed that we wanted this solution and when it finally came, it didn't take long for us to shrug and wonder, "Is this what we waited so long for?" I agree with other posters here that the "wireless kit" should be less an extra box and more a built in feature. It would

I checked. It's $36 plus change. As for $20 for the battery cover, I wouldn't handed it to you and bid you good day. But that's another story!

The "eyes" all look similar, though the one that has the headphone-like plug on the end is either for a BeoMedia or a BeoSystem 1 variant. The eye that is used with an active kit, passive kit, or wireless kit, uses a DIN plug that looks like powerlink and has a timer, volume, and standby button on the black vertical strip over the actual IR

Sure, no problem, in fact, it would be even better suited to this task considering that the rear channels carry a right & left, while the center is technically mono. Powerlink carries 2 channels at once (it is usually the task of the BeoLab to decide which one to look at) so you could easily run a single lead of PowerLink to the ML/MCL converter
-
You coooould do this. Sure. You don't need an eye in this case, though, as it will not be receiving IR commands itself. You connect the ML/MCL Converter by PowerLink and it will click on along with the other speakers. If anyone has tried this, though, I'd be interested to hear some tips as to "optimizing" a setup like this.
