They seem to say that uncompressed audio can be sent to an older receiver that does not support the formats if the Blu-Ray player does the decoding and if the signal is sent through either 5 analog cables or an HDMI. I am looking for a picture of Beolab 9s in gray.

Beolab 4000s are without a doubt wonderful speakers. For awhile we had 4000s in a link room and 1s in the main room and I found myself frequently choosing the 4000s for music over the 1s.
