PhilLondon: £450 would only give you a Beocenter 2500. Not the external amp, and speakers, and Beolink 5000. p. Oh! Sorry, I never buy any of this stuff! I did hear a rumour though that if you advertise all this stuff together then you don't get so much money for it. Maybe I'm wrong.

Peter : PL212: That, specifically, is a photo of a 2300 DAB which was for sale at bbuy.dk in Copenhagen. I know because they kindly allowed me to photograph it. :) How much did it sell for? £681 What a bunch of plonkers!

If you are talking 1200 US$ then that sounds expensive to me but remember that I am only familiar with UK prices. You could probably buy that system on eBay UK for £450-500 tops. Your Beogram 3000 will require the use of an external RIAA pre amp to function with this system so that is yet more expense. The amplifier is no better than your Beolab

harrykym: Do you know how to change the bulbs? Thanks Yes! It is not as simple as just changing a light bulb. They are soldered onto a small pcb at the back of the light chambers. To gain access you need to remove the complete front of the machine. I suggest that you upgrade your membership of this site to at least silver (£15) and download the

Unless the unit is not working or is dirty and needs a good clean then I would recommend that you leave well alone. I guess the unit is quite old and a number of things can go wrong on dismantling. The securing devices (clips) on the doors can become detached. Remedy, new doors at £40 each! The plastic clips on the casework can break as they have

I'm with Peter here. At £275 with a working Beogram/Stylus it is good value.
