The rivet vias connect copper traces from one side of a board to the other. They are filled with solder so looks just like a huge solder blob until you clear it out. The solder, rivet and board traces work differently with temperature so the connection eventually cracks and becomes intermittent or completely open. You can heat up the solder again but

Hi Norbert The lamps are soldered to either two small pins each or to the little PCB board itself. The new lamps will need to be soldered the same way again. The lamps are a bit odd but not extremely expensive. You have a PM ! Martin

Yes, and I also have the Beocenter 2600 slider that you asked for in the other thread. Martin

Caps, output stage trimmers and cracked solder joints first. If it still has issues, they will be much easier to diagnose by then. Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! Pull off the volume knob. Using a suitable tool, screwdriver or similar, press in the little tab on the left side of the dial cover (Blue arrow), while pushing the dial cover forward (Red arrow). Take off the clear dial by releasing the two small claws at its front edge. The lamps are soldered in. They are odd specs but I have

Honestly, I would leave the motor alone until the caps and vias has been done. Martin
