I'm not one to defend poor dealers if this is the case, and sorry to put a damper on your lament, but did you not actually check the speakers before you bought them? By the look of it, they were £300 off list and with a £950 Serenata thrown in it strikes me as a bit of a bargain to be honest! - but i could be wrong. I assume that the

Hi No, they won't just plug & play' as the voltage in Canada is different to the UK. You can either use a voltage converter (see our FAQ section article on them) or your engineer can do a simple tweak to the 'insides' for them to run on 110v. Lee

I'm picturing a pair of BeoLab 3's on wall brackets bolted to the sides of the BV9 and turned on full 'sideways' turn... I actually go with Alex here - how about a Mk3 7-40 and a 7.2. That said, i totally and utterly love my BeoVision 9 and wouldn't swap it for anything.. Lee

Ignace has covered just about everything from a technical aspect, but here are some common-sense tips. Look at the steering wheel, gear knob and drivers seat. Does the speedo say 60,000km, and the seat is worn through - matching the leather peeling from the steering wheel and gear knob?!! If so, either the car has a false mileage and/or a doctored history
