@Moxxey Thanks I agree the discussion is going a long time in a pointless direction. Also your latest ....... Presumably we agree to disagree. End of discussion
No idea where you have got this lossless debate from.
@Moxxey Sorry, but you did give a refference to formats! And go back to the first second page of this discussion, where you made the remark about Apple Lossles. As before: you like a concept with the spec's or you don't. Eventually you will buy it
They need to support every major/primary format, every major streaming standard if they want to prooduce a product like the Encore. The sad thing about many B&O users to me is that they accept second best with software support. It's been like that for a few years now.
The only MAJOR format as you put it

Will it display all the album art?
than you have the functionallity as displayed in the adds on the B&o site (this includes album arts; if Twonky sees the cover BS5(e) will see it also) To access Twonky on your
" Welcome to the Apple world son, we're closed to standards or define our own standards which will be closed in any case! " It cant read anything as Apple simply doesn't support UPnP ...
the solution to this problem is to install Twonky Server on your iMac, Macbook or MacMini. Twonky is upnp

@ carolpa: Does the BS5E act that other way around as I described, meaning that you connect a UPNP capable NAS with the ethernet RJ45 connection to the BS5E and the BS5E acts as the bridge to the router? If so, is it possible to "push" new songs to the NAS via the BS5E? Best regards Stephan
hi Stephan
