• Re: Beomaster 5000 and RL60..2 problem

Hi Jostein You will first need to clarify what functions are working when you use the front control panel. Try that as well as trying the remote. Are you just attempting to use the radio? Have you got a decent aerial? Can you change the waveband? Have you selected FM? Press ADVANCE to tune in the next radio station. You should try to find a station

  • Re: Beocord 9000 conversion?

Yes Martin, the photos are fairly identical. The easiest way to do it was to set the camera up on the tripod and just swap the beocords over without connecting up the cables. Only took a few minutes. I am already getting used to the beocord in silver only and the mixed keys are starting to look a bit odd!! Now I need something else to experiment with

Good one Martin, Photoshop might have been easier but the result would have been less satisfying. GR

Finally, the modified Beocord 9000 with all silver keys, in my opinion, a solid improvement and a lot of fun experimenting with it. Regards Geoff

  • Re: Beocord 9000 conversion?

The new silver keys have arrived courtesy of Jeff - Burantek and I was quick to install them in the BC 9000. By the time that I closed up the box, I was already very pleased with the results. I personally think that the BC9000 looks much better and sophisticated. Photo enclosed. I will post some photos of my 8000 system with the different Beocords and

  • Re: 4002 (5501): arm won't lower

Hi Menahem I have tried to put down my thoughts on the solenoid operation to help get to the bottom of this problem solving exercise. First of all, I think that Martin has a very valid point when he mentions the number of model variants that we might be thinking about or have been working on. In my case, my experience tends to be based on the extensive
Anyway that light must be perfectly aligned, before the arm will drop.
Hi Menahem I was interested in your reply to the solenoid lowering problem and there is something that I would like you or anyone else to clarify for me. You stated that the slide transport sensor has to be carefully adjusted before the arm

  • Re: LC 2 AID REQUIRED

Kokomo In the case of my faulty LC2, I enquired from my local B&O agent whether the PCBs were still available and received a positive reply that they could still get them. I then ordered the smaller of the two boards that contained the IR sensors from them, because I suspected the problem might be in that area. If that didn't work out, my plan
