Yes it records at 128kbps which is a ballance between sound quilty and storage capacity. The sound quality is hard to distinguish between C.D and SD card, most of my friends cannot tell. I would prefer to record at a slightly higher kbps rate but such is life. You can always pull out the C.D if you want the extra quality or connect you P.C/ Laptop to

I have a BeoSound 4 running with my BeoLab 5's and although the performance is a little miss matched it still beats any other unit in it's price range. As an all rounder it has quite alot in functionality and connections. Remember that it's designed as an entry level product, hence the use of more plastics. However this does nothing to it's

Looking at the back of the BV7, on the right you have coax connections. With a din to coax cable this should be no problem, i've done it with my ipod before. Just add PC to the list function on Beo4 and PC in setup. Or go into the camera connection if you don't mind seeing the cable hanging out the side, also must add camera function to list

355 Ferrari: Electronics made by Magnetti Marrelli, brakes made by Brembo, tyres made by Pirreli or Bridgestone, Wheel bearings made in Australia! But I must admit (even being a McLaren fan since I was born) that the 355 is an amazing car in looks, built quality and performance. In that order too because Ferrari would go broke if it didn't look

There are other factors in a B&O product other than just the looks. Form, function, integration, ease of use, built quality. It's a well ballanced product that obviously has a market. I guess that's why they've been around longer than any other AV company (80 Years).

I believe you're right Alex but it's a clever play on words for what it can do.

No, It's called ICE Power because the amps run cool with no unused energy and therefore not requiring a big metal heat sink for dispencing heat. Creating a smaller amp with larger power. Perfect for BL8000 I would think.
