Good day all! The last couple of weeks I've noticed a distinct faded/whitish stripe on the left side of the screen on my tv. It kinda looks like when you put a speaker too close to the screen. However, I have long ago moved speakers away from the tv. I've had the tv in about a year ago to replace some caps...wish I'd asked which ones! Any

Ok...I found some time today to have a look at the guts! I couldn't fiqure out how to get the back off. However I did take the back of behind the speakers. Full of insulation. I've decided that if I can not fiqure out how to get inside...I have no business being there. So thank you all for your advice, and I'll enjoy FM without stereo! Guy

Thanks guys! Thanks ipaul! I wish I could post a pic, but I don't have the equipment right now. I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between it and the Beomaster 900k! I'll take a look inside and let you know what I find. You name your price for the module, and I'll send it to you! There's very little chance of me finding one

I can listen to my tape and cd's in stereo as long as the "stereo" button is depressed. However, when listening to FM, I cannot depress the "stereo" button, or the audio cuts out. I am guessing that

That is one beautifull radio!!! Guy

So true! When I received my Beocenter 9000 it looked similar to the one on youtube. Not anymore! I can't think of a better product to restore and keep using! Now...if only I could get the cd player to work! Apparently a common problem. Guy

So I've deduced that my newly acquired unit does not have the multiplex adaptor that I've read about here. It will play my tapes in stereo when I have the Tape function pressed along with the stereo button. It cuts out the sound when I press the stereo button while listening to FM. I like to listen to FM quite a bit and would like to hear it

No spare parts . I will pick up a ribbon antenna tomorrow then, pretty common here. Guy

I have a couple of questions about my newly aquired 610 k. First and foremost, I love the styling. Very modern, even still! I read in a previous thread that you can stick a ribbon antenna with bannana plugs into the red input on the back. What is a ribbon antenna? Is it the kind that are plastic coated wire that separates into two sections, and usually
