It is a 7-pin plug. No, the BeoLab 3500 is intended to be used strictly as a link-room product on an ML or MCL network. There is no direct input on it. Somewhere on this site you can find information on a third-party solution which can do this for you; but it is not 'officially supported' by B&O.

[quote user="BeoNut1"] I've got a dumb question (imagine that) for the group: .... I started looking at the specs for the the 7.6 and comparing them to the 7.2 and they both appear to have 6 x 125 watt speakers and I'm now wondering if I couldn't use a 7.2 instead of the 7.6 with the BV-7 55". Does anyone know if these speakers

As odd as it might seem, you can have it all! You will need a 7-pin Y-adaptor, which will plug into the Aux. socket on the 2300, then hang the BeoLink converter on one side and the Sonos on the other. I have used this setup before, it works just fine. Enjoy!

Hello all! I have a client who wants to find a good home for a Burgundy/Red Avant, with the matching Burgundy equipment cube. Condition of both pieces is very good, photos will be available a little later on. It's being replaced by a BeoVision 8 (a BV-7 and BV-4/65 are already elsewhere in the home.) Any interest? Offers? The TV is in a suburb of

"Earlier that expected". Just remember that we 'expected' the BeoTime in mid-August. ;-) More to the point, would think mid-November to early December. The real issue is that individual stores may not be able to display it untill they sell their BeoVision 9's. And if anyone wonders about that....

Are you sure that the house is wired for MasterLink, not Master Control Link? A single 8-pin DIN socket just might be the original MCL for a BeoLab 3500/LCS-9000. If, we're sure that it's all ML, then that is definitely a PL socket, the question becomes 'Why?"

I think Bayerische and JK 1002 are onto something here. For those of you who really like the BV-9, my advice is that you not wait too long...and if you're looking for a good deal on a US specunit, well I think I know where you might find a couple.

Easiest thing in the world! At the top of the speaker, the fret is molded into a 'handle' which makes it easier to move the speaker. If you reach into the handle with your right hand, you will feel a small button under your ring-finger. Press the button towards the front of the speaker to release the fret, and pull it up about an inch, the fret

I guess that I misunderstood you earlier. If you want to run the speakers from the 3200, then you just need B&O part number 6270302 and an RCA cable. Run from one of the Tape-Out connections on the Mac to the Aux port on the 3200. Powerlink from the 3200 to the BL-2 and from there to the 8k's. Easy as pie! If, on the other hand you want to run
