I use Option 6 , you don't have to do a link + command if you make a Beo4 a link remote . I have a Master Linked Bv7-40 and Bv-6 within range of each other , Bv6 in option 6 and a link converted Beo4 and this remote is ignored by the Bv7 . Richard

If you have two Beo4's and the software is a minimum of 5.0 then make one of them a link remote and save having to press List every time you command something . Set the Mx to option 6 and follow the procedure below the make one of the Beo4's a link remote . Standby + List together Press List till CONFIG appears Enter 2002 , the display should

Got the eprom from my dealer but was a few years ago , it was one of the few parts that was still available then , so would be even less now . If I remember correctly these eprom's can be copied if you have the equipment . Richard

Made two of my BM3500's two way with eprom part number 8341178 this give's you software 2.2 , it's the same part that's in the BM4500 . Easy to change and not expensive ( about £30 ) but don't know if they are still available . Richard

Removed the ML from the 7 last night and left the tv on when I went to bed but was off when I got up this morning , so appears it's not the ML . The B&o engineer is calling in after lunch , I ask if there is anything else that can be tried before they exchange it on Friday . I mentioned the grief I had with mice in the past stripping cable insulation

Think there was a picture on the old forum , it's not everybody's cup of tea from the comments it got . Looked out for one for years to go with my Black BS7000 but have never come across one , could have the ally plate black powder coated on my MCP6500 , that would be close . Richard

Only shows 1.03 ( neutral to earth ) , live to neutral 228 volts . The main supply is PME system , although my cottage is quite old the wiring is modern with rcd's so any live/neutral imbalance or earth problem the rcd's should drop out . It's a big property with a lot of wire in it , 22 room's ( B&o in most ) and has a few sub consumer

I'll try and get a reading with a meter . I haven't noticed a power dip when it turns off like the lights dimming , sometimes get a voltage drop in the depth of winter especially when it's windy but not this time of year . I do run night store heaters to keep my parrots warm in the winter and are still on till it warms up a bit . They are

Just pulled out the ML from the 7 and cannot now get sat in the kitchen ( Bv6 ) , it makes no attempt to get it when instructed ( V-aux is the command ) stays on normal TV , not a even flicker , have done a tuner scan but can't find it , not surprised though with the ML out . Forgot to add when the 7 shuts itself off you don't get the curtains
