Hi chaps, Anyone have the Mediacentre address - I seem to have lost it. Regards frog
-
Same as all previous stuff - Setup, 0,0,GO should do it.

It is rather unlikely that a software upgrade will make the tuner H.264 compatible although I haven't looked to see what processor is used to be sure. The decoding is done in hardware and a MPEG-2 decoder would not have the capability to decode H.264. Anyhow, with 8M MPEG-2 boxes out there - the switch to H.264 will likely take a very long time

Maybe you have an Australian Beo4?
-
The commercial panels switch on via the serial cable - the video signal comes through a DVI connection. As the BV4 panel is just a commercial PW (or PHD) Panasonic panel - expect everything to work as if it were.
-
It is in the system menu; MENU, Choose OPTIONS, 0,0,GO them Monitor Information then the last option is reset.
-
Yes, the manual is correct - can't understand why your cable works!

This Sky+ box will work: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pace-Sky-Plus-Box-Model-Number-BSKYB-100_W0QQitemZ190142346290QQihZ009QQcategoryZ96971QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

That panasonic box is not a PVR - did you want a Sky+ box or just a regular box without disk?
-
Alex: Peter: I have Sky+ as well as VCRs and a DVD/HDD recorder. I use Sky+ as it integrates perfectly with my B&O and is completely idiot proof! You say that, but I'm sure Rupert Murdoch can use his own products. I bet he wishes he was as clever as you
