Conan I'm in exactly the same position, except I'm replacing an MX4000 on a motorised base...... I'm probably going to go Avant 32 RF VCR, keep the BC2 and BL8000 and trade my V8000! Good luck Gary

Which version of the avant is type 8403, is it the original curved screen model, the products page doesn't make it clear and I have searched the forum and found 1 reference? Thanks Gary

Given that I want the BV7-32, the BV3 is too expensive for me at this point, also its depth is an issue..... Here is my lounge set up at the moment, you can see the sofas either side of the coffe table (just) hence my need for a motorised stand!

Peter I do have the AV2 expander, but never have much luck getting it to work..... I think it might be my actual scart cables though! Lloydern Don't think I could get a BV3 as cheaply as the MX and whilst I agree the picture quality would be better on the BV3, lack of a motorised table stand is a big negative for me.

Took the wife to look at a BV8-32 and she hated it, the BV6-26 was too small....Funnily enough she loved the BV7 and BV9 for that matter!!! So whilst I save the pennies, I'm looking at possibly getting either an MX7000 or MX8000. I currently have an MX4000 on a motorised table base and have an STB fitted, so works brilliantly with Sky. RF = Real Flat screen as opposed to the curved screens of earlier models. They will also be newer. Someone with greater knowledge than me will be able to give you a more technical answer.

personally I like the look of the lab 3500, the 2000 never did it for me...

I'm curious to see what they do with the mini...... Reading all the rumour sites, it seems its a product which won't die away slowly.
