Hi again Connected to digital input using Scart?? Scart is analoge and carries no digital signals. For digital picture, connect your SKY box with DVI or Component. DVI requires sound aswell and your two options are S/P diff or analog sound . S/P diff works only with surround and analog works regardless of input. Could you please clarify your current

Hi M4SPM BV 7 MK I and II cant play digital stereo signals through the digital input out of the box. Only surround signals. Try playing a DVD or anything else with surround and then it should work. For stereo 2 Channel PCM You need an upgrade but dont know if it is even possible on a MK I. /Ehlerz

Hi Seanie What happens if you press AV Vmem? That should do the trick, at least it does for my mini connected with DVI and S/P diff /Ehlerz

Hi Ken You could also have chosen the 100 hz panel without the hummingnoise that was used in the newer Mk IV´s. The humming was as far as i know only present on the first versions. I have also gotten the 200 hz panel and agree with you. The new panel has a "glare" that makes it never quite black, but instead a bit shiny. Furthermore

Makes perfect sense And as the screen is not permanent, you do not want a bl 7-4 hanging low on the wall when the screen is up, correct? That makes it a bit more difficult, as the sound IMO could be a bit weird. Maybe someone has a similar setup and are able to provide some answers. /Ehlerz

May I ask why you want your center mountet on the ceiling? The centerchanel is supposed to come from as close to the screen as possible. I am afraid the sound will sound weird. /Ehlerz

I mean, did the MK IV also have the GLARE SURFACE? The reason i ask is because i think this might contribute to the white spots I see in darker scenes. If you move your head
Hi there, I see the same white clouds after my MK IV was updated to the new 200Hz panel due to the humming noise on the old one. Ken
Hi Ken Seriously?? If that is the case, something is very wrong. I had the panel and pim module changed and guess you went through the same thing ?

I could live with humming noise...
My point was, that this humming noise isn't actually that bad. My TV room is fairly quiet and, yes, I can hear the noise, but it doesn't really affect me. The PS3 and other devices have far louder fans. I'm trying to say that you might
Ehlerz, Perhaps you could post a picture to show others what you are experiencing?
Certainly, However i have no picture of my specific setup, but borrowed tomsell99´s picture from another thread. Mine is not as apparent as his, but otherwise looke quite similar. /Ehlerz
