TripEnglish: This is admittedly a personal preference, but I prefer the picture on the B&O plasmas. (I do like the Kuro more than the B&O LCDs at the moment, but that could change quite shortly). To me the color is better rendered and the motion processing is more natural. Admittedly the panel is attached to a powerful scaler, but whatever it

Henry: How have you guys forgotten to mention BeoTalk 1200? Terrible interface in my opinion. I can't understand why and how they are selling for so much on eBay. I recently bought one,and I agree that the interface induces the "heeby jeebies",but having set it up,I have grown to appreciate it's capabilities. No such problems with

355f: TripEnglish: I'm waiting for 355f to say, "The Pricetags!" (fingers crossed) ah- no comment! everything is changing at B&O and prices will come down for sure, particularly for flat screen LCD. Just be careful about what comments one makes about 'crappy products' that come from outside the EU- you will be eating your words

So,how does B & O go about ascertaining what it's existing/potential buyers want, rather than it telling them what they will have?

beolife: The only time it will change is when enough people vote with their feet & B&O will have to revaluate their pricing structure. By which time it may be too late to recover. Remember the German Camera Industry with their philosophy of people will always pay a premium for the quality of their products? By the time they realised the impact

One myth to dispel, for a start, is that a product manufactured in China is per se necessarily "cheap, and cheerful". The Chinese will manufacture to whatever quality/price point is demanded by the customer eg Apple ,Toshiba(with the late XE1 HD DVD player),and Shanling CD players. It is difficult to know whether,or not,a move to a cheaper far

As I advised in another thread, the response from B & O UK to my enquiry about using a BS3 with my Pioneer LX608 was "Not recommended!" The user menu of the Pioneer LX series is so all embracing, and, according to the independent tests, the processing capabilities so good, that the benefits of an external processor may well be marginal. I have

Various views have been expressed in recent threads as to the nature of,solutions to,the problems facing B & O. It has been stated, although I do not know on what basis, that the Company reads the respective forums, but a cynic might suggest that views are being expressed by "the usual suspects". Hence my question. Alternative to focus groups

Tom: mr_anders_son: Ok BV9 out 103" in ...or NOT how will you move this giant into your house? Partial demolition! And,given the 485lb weight, perhaps a crane.

Peter : I must confess to being disappointed by this thread. I agree that what Trip wrote doesn't fit with my idea of B&O but we all write posts where we exaggerate our stance for effect and take it to extremes as part of a debate. I believe that is what has occurred here. By all means shoot the message but personal attacks are simply unpleasant
