• Re: What are the best B&O items ever?

My fave is MKI BeoLab 4000 But BL5 would have to take the cake, it is the best on so many levels, including the reinforcement of B&O's credibility and competancy in sound

People were saying similar things about vinyl 15 years ago. The cassette revival has already begun here in the UK. Sales of tapes increased last year for the first time in about a decade, and collectors are snapping up the more desirable Walkman models.
I think cassettes are

  • Re: Lack of tall stands for current TVs
Must be the safety aspect. I've always seen those as a liability court case waiting to happen...
Ever tried tipping over a BC1? The stand weighs as much as the TV... i really agree with this post, the BV7 would have been fantastic up high

  • Re: B&O iPod Dock..
Is the sound output between 4000's and 6000's that different?
When the volume is up high yes, there is a big difference. Nevertheless, exciting concept, lets hope it doesn't disspoint like every other product they have released over the past couple of years has.

  • Re: Goodbye BeoSound 9000 ?
Wouldn't be surprised if they did stop production of the BSS9000. I love the white edition myself and is still one of the most beautiful pieces of design ever conceived. However.....it also stresses the need for new ideas in (beosound or beocenter) units. I love the flagship designs as the BS9000 or the beosound3200

why don't they keep the concept and update it to handle dvd's and even blu rays ?
...and how about reducing the size of the removable keypad and adding an iPod dock and/or SD card reader under the door? Just how often does anyone use the keypad anyway?
I think

You do not need to do anything, if you are happy with what you are doing! :) Once you rip all your CD's into digital format on a hardrive like a beomedia / beosound 5, you will understand the appeal. It is all instant, versatile and movable. It's all at your fingertips, and MOTS on the BS5 is very very good. Cd's are absolutely lovely and
