  • Re: Help wanted in the USA

Ask him if he'll take a USPS money order, and tell him all he does is hand it to the desk at a post office and they will cash it for him. If he says ok, then you can paypal me the money (plus the paypal fee), and I can mail him the USPS money order. As long as I won't be held responsible for any issues that arise. Austin

  • Re: My dad's 1987-88 Beosystem in storage ..

Yes, it sounds like a 5500 system with Pentas. Definitely one of the better B&O systems. As Jeff above me mentioned, it sounds like the mess of wires you mentioned was only for the multi-room linkage, and won't be necessary for setting the system up and listening to it in one room. The components of the system should have permanently attached

  • Re: What camera do you use?

Robert, I want to first start by telling you that the dslr is only as good as the lens you put on it. I think dslr's are wonderful. Of the current cameras my family has, our favorite is our Canon Rebel XT. My second favorite would probably be my old minolta SRT-101, which is probably worth little more than some pocket change now, and was made before

  • Re: B&O built factory in China

All the people I know who have dealt first hand with having products produced in China have not had the most favorable experiences. Yes, you do see some very high quality products coming out of China, such as the newer Apple products are supposed to be. Many people mistake this as a sign of China improving their quality standards, when in reality it
