I have to say that I had a very good experience too. My BeoCenter 9300 just arrived today, everything went smooth and they were very kind. They've even changed the UK plug to the Euro one without me asking for it. Wonderful! Thanks Lee.
-
Frank Rizzo: Hey Gorissek...Whatever did you determine about the ability of the 9500 to drive your speakers??? I picked up a 9500 and am re-furbing it now, i'd love to hear your comparison to your Sony amp... THanks, Hi Frank! I didn't get the 9500, because it turned out to be a scam . I have learned my lesson, and bought a 9300 from Lifestyle

Don't have a girlfriend at the moment, so I think I have nothing to worry about : ) "Marriage is a great institution, but I'm not ready for an institution yet." Mae West ...or ever, for that matter ; )

That was the idea. The only problem I have now ( apart from finding another 1000€ : ) is the stereo sound. You can put BL4s as far apart as you wish, but you're stuck with BS1. Also, the MBP and speakers ( Heybrook 0.5 - can anyone compare the BS1/BL4 to these? ) are on a table in the corner, and the BS1 will be on a floor stand on the other
-
I'm thinking of getting a BeoSound 1 in the near future. I was looking at the BeoLab 4 PC at first, but the BS1 is so much better looking ( although I love those lights on top of BL4s ), has a CD player, alarm clock and I imagine it also sounds much better. So the choice seems kind of obvious. Kind of. This would be in my small studio apartment

I discovered Morcheeba this week. So I'm watching / listening to either From Brixton To Beijing DVD or the Parts Of The Process CD. Love them!

Doesn't the radio's webpage contain an address ( you just go to iTunes > Advanced > Open Stream... ) or a file to download? Most radios have this ( it's usually a .pls or .m3u file ).
-
JoC: One of the pictures in the link above, is a room full of BeoLab 8000's, with a BeoSound 9000 in the middle, beautiful picture, well I think so anyway . May become my next windows desktop... Speaking of beautiful, who is the girl on those photos? She seems so familiar...

Good point... haven't really checked to see what's new in Spotlight in these two weeks since I have Leopard, and never really thought about using it as an app launcher in Tiger. It seems I should, but I have a feeling I'll stay with quicksilver in the end.
-
Here is a link that explains pretty well, what it does > click . As I've said, I mostly use it as an application launcher. Here's how that works: You press the hot key you've assigned and the Quicksilver search window opens. Now that it's open, you just type the first few letters of the application you would like to open and once
