  • Re: In Home Demonstrations

Sounds like a lazy dealer for those simple items! BV 7 would be easier to understand due to transport logistics, but the others are a one-man show. I fail to see the dealers logic because in most cases once you have something like a shiney a new toy in your possession it's difficult to let it go. Simple Marketing 101, just ask a child. I'm sure

Maybe it depends on what you want demonstrated My dealer has offered to let me demo speakers, etc for the weekend. I would think a Beovision 9 would be pushing my luck. What was it you wanted to demo? Roger

  • Re: BeoSound 1 in Green has landed !!

I never trhought too much of the "green" themes from B&O especially in the speaker range. At least the Beosound 1 cover can be changed.

  • Beocom 4 "Audio control"

For those of you that have the Beocom 4, can you control the volume of your B&O systems with it, as can be done with the Beocom 2/6000/1? The specs on the B&O website indicate volume control, but I suspect thats the phone earpiece volume only. Thank you in advance. Roger

  • Re: Beovision 4-50 Compatibility with Beosystem 3

Max, I think you are correct, no need to get a new panel at all. I have seen the BS 3 via the BV 9 and I think the picture improvement is minimal and not worth spending several thousand on at this time. The main issue is connections which the BS 3 outperforms the BS 1, but again, not several thousand worth IMHO. I see it as a very expensive tweak, not

  • Re: When did you buy your BeoSound 9000?

We have had ours since 1999, and I still see family and friends go right up to it and just stare at it every time they visit. It's funny, they never say a word but you can tell they are captivated by it. I also find myself noticing it from various angles all the time, because of the way lights or colors reflect off the glass or because of the different

Alex, Thank you, Not sure my receipt shows a serial number as 18251481 so that puts me in the pre-D7 range according to your post. The menu lets you look at the monitor info and the serial numebr it lists relates to the BS 1. Under TV there were several listings one indicating a "D6 2B" I think (it won't show that info now for some reason

Alex, My Bv-4 is wall mounted and I can't see any serial numbers, etc.I know there is a way to check the panel type by using the Beo 4 thru menu functions, but I can't recall the button sequence, can you or anyone else here help with this? I purchased my BV-4 in Aug 2006 prior to the BS 3 release. I think I should be able to utilize the BS 3

  • Re: Beosound 9000 6's Promotion CD's - How many owns them

I purchased a set of these in 2000 for our BS 9000, but my case was different than yours. My case is brushed aluminum with the bang & olufsen label. They do look great when displayed in the 9000. My set contans the variety pop/classical etc.. I believe there was an "all classical" version as well. And no, I won't sell them Roger

  • Re: A question for BV5 / 9 owners...

Hello Sal, I was not fortunate enough to have the Avant, but on the BV 5 (BV 4) the link information is displayed on screen so the TV has to be on. Does/did your Avant LED display show even if the TV screen was not on? Thinking about acquiring a BV5/BV9? Roger
