I too have the original PSTN base and have the same issue about four times a year, I'd be interested to know if people with the newer bases have the same issue? Greg

Thanks for the reply. I have seen the discussion around BM-Link 1.5 and find this interesting. I just wonder how integrated this really is? How will it integrate with the new Beo 5? As I see it here are my choices: Go with BeoMedia 1 Go Mac Mini Upgrade BS3000 to BeoCentre 2 Wait a further 12 months and see what happens Option 4 seems a little defeative

When I first heard about BeoMedia (way back when.......) I was excited about the potential of the product, Then when it was released in the UK I was disapointed by its interface, potential lack of upgradeability, and basically paying over £1500 for the abililty to look at a few websites on and display my photos on my TV. In the UK the IR sensor from a B&O dealer will set you back about £80. It's the same one as Michael sells at Lintronic. Greg

Hi I have had the same issue too. If you have just added a freeview box, disable the automatic software update. I bet it's happening between 2 and 3 am too? Greg

Hi I started with a pir of BeoLab 4000's and I haven't moved on from them.... while I can hear the clarity of the BeoLab 3's I personally can't justify the additional cost. There was someone selling replacement screens on ebay. I ordered one, but it's not arrived yet. Mine has a slight chip at the top, I'll let you know how I get on. Greg
