• Re: avant 32" vcr, connections

ok - there are a few variants depending on age, if you want/have STB control, but to start you need to do the following : Put a scart from the VCR to the TV by using the (strangley enough) v-tape and TV sockets. Your video should now work. Then, connect you SKY box to the AV scart. Select TV, Menu and go to the input selection (sources) option and press

  • Re: The children want their own music, the iPods are taking over!

Bit confused now.....if you've already installed it, and it works like a dream, why do you need suggestions/solutions for local inputs ? For anyone else interested..Sonos is great when used with Beolabs too - A while ago, I installed a system that was Beolab 4000 speakers in several rooms, all on ZP90 zones, driven by a Beosound 4 in the living

Depending on your sources, consider putting sonos into your kids rooms. I've installed a bunch of "hybrid" link systems, and sonos appeals to the "ipod generation" like nothing else. A zone player will replace the passive, and happily drive the bvox 1. They get local input and (subject to what else you have/how its set up) access

  • Re: Sky + (large capacity) HD box

Found a video... And a whole series about component level repair, rather than whole board swapout....

  • Re: Sky + (large capacity) HD box

I suggest anyone with a flaky sky box gets on ebay and searches for SKY PSU or similar. I have a SKY HD box that would stick in standby, lose signal, drop recordings seemingly at random. All cured by fiiting a new psu. Now works 100% via the STB - before it would sometimes lag behind the beo4 a bit. There are various suppliers - it took me about 5 minutes

  • Re: question on Beosound 3 face replacement.

There is a known prouction issue with those top plates, and as such it will (probably) be repaired FOC if you can get the dealer to ask DK to supply the parts FOC. The serial number will show if your unit was in the batch with (what amounts to) a built in fault - as such it is like a product recall - it should be FOC. Bsnd 9000's of a certain age
And why did he stand there and justify his career on camera?
Calming the troops worldwide I guess.....its the third new CEO in about 5 years. Unsettling if you earn a living in the distribution. That said, he seems to be switched on, and it bodes well if his time at Triumph was indeed a triumph Time will tell.

  • Re: BeoNEWS thread

You may get a deal on the iconic Bsnd9000 or Bsnd3200 - both of which can be wall mounted - or maybe a Bsnd 1 all in one system, all are fine products, but all will leave the range soon, so good timing in some respects. Suggest you call or email your "local" dealer..... Back to th thread..... That young man may have an impressive CV, and sounds
