  • Re: Designer David Lewis has passed away

I'm really disgusted that there is no credit or mention to David Lewis on the B&O website. If it wasn't for David Lewis B&O wouldn't be half the company it is. I think the lack of this respect makes B&O come across as a very cold, inhumane company. I'm really quite shocked and disappointed! Let's be honest David Lewis

Really sad. He turned B&O around with the Ouverture as id always regarded it as a very old people's brand until that with its' funky blue speakers landed. As usual B&O are so slow - their website doesn't even mention David passing or honour him, instead it's the self obsessed video by Tue.

  • Re: Hi !

Hi Rich! Welcome! I have that BeoGram with a BeoMaster 1900 of my Grandad's hiding in a cupboard in my spare room. One day when i get a larger house, I am going to make a retro rom and listen to crackly records on it and smile :)

Ripping DVDs sounds an excellent idea instead of me rebuying them on iTunes. I have a fab MacBook can you recommend the software to rip DVDs please? I hate seeing DVD boxes around the apartment. Whereas books look fabulous, I really think DVDs and CDs look really tacky in a house! I was planning on the BV11 but i'm holding out for an Apple OLED

Edouard! Thank you for that. Apple TV is the route for me as i'm a little concerned over the future of Blu-Ray now plus remember how horribly fragile those DVDs were? A lot of mine simply don't play anymore. I think you've got an amazing sound system in your BV10 with ATV it certainly seems a more reliable idea than using the BS5 Encore

Hey Edouard, How would you judge the picture quality of the Apple TV on the BV10?

Hi Edouard Im fantastic thank you! Just driven up to the Lake District for 2 days of swimming and boating! Yes totally agree with you over the art etc. Your whole room is looking beautiful, elegant and stylish but homely too! The Apple TV when playing music display looks beautifully designed and certainly compliments the BV10. Yes it's a real shame

Wow looks fabulous! is that Apple TV i see on your beautiful BV10? BL9's are quite cute, they remind me of ET when he had a cloak on!
