• Re: What does the BS5 give me?

Thanks a lot, does that mean that all I can navigate on from the link TV's is Photo and Web (I don't use Web though)? In other words, the BS5 is the one to use if I wan't to listen to - or search for - an album?

  • Re: Any BV 7-40 MK V owners out there?

Hi Ehlerz I have just talked to my dealers technician today (I still have some issues with my BM5), and I said to him that our 7-55 was very stable and works without any problems. Both with my old SW 7xx and the newly updated 905 on the 7-55. And he did agree that the 7-55 right now is a TV that just works. I dont know why you have so many problems

  • Re: BM5 with SSD instead of Hard Drive ?

I do manually copy the content of the BM5 to my NAS in case the BM5 brakes down. I use a program so that only new files are copied, but it is still a manual process. Even though I run RAID5 on my NAS, I do still not always trust my hardware, and not B&O's HW either :-)

  • Re: Rear Speakers Recommendation

I have just purchased a set of used BL4000 MK1, and I have BL9 as front, BL7-2 as center and BL2 as sub. I think the BL4000 fits perfectly into my setup. I just listened to Toto Live in Cencert "Falling in between" using speaker 4 mode, that was actually a totally new and exiting experience. The BL4000 sounded great here also.

  • What does the BS5 give me?

Hi I hope you can help me a little bit. I have a BM5 connected to my BV7, and we use the BM5 navigation on the link room TV quite a lot, and it works ok (after getting used to it). We mostly listen to BM5 content in our link room (kitchen) where we have a BV8-32 placed. But, as I see it, many new features require having the BS5, and not just the BM5

  • Re: Beovision 9, Link, HDMI to Link TV's >> PLEASE HELP

I do also think it is a shame that it is not possible to distribute in at least digital SD (or HD) quality. I also had a HDMI splitter for my DVB-C box, but in the end I bought an extra box. The additional price for the box was not that much again compared to a quality HDMI splitter. But I still watch content from my BM5, Tvix and Blueray via the RF

  • Re: TViX M-6600N medie afspiller.

  • Re: BV7-40: DVB-HD on BEO4 TV button?

Hi In theory it should work, but it did not for me either. I could assign an external DVB-C box as TV, but not the internal DVB-HD. It was on SW 7.05 I tested. I don't use the internal DVB-HD anymore, I use an external box instead. And all my HDMI sockets are used :o(

  • Re: BM 5 defect ?

....I must agree. With the problems we have had until now (SW and HW issues), it is hard to convince my wife that this is actually a brilliant product. When it works, she normally says , and I do understand her. Now I just cross my fingers.
