  • Re: B&O's 85th Birthday appears to be a Happy Day for customers

If anyone wants me to forward the email, PM me your email and I'll send it through. I suspect they are also doing it instead of lowering the prices which is what they should do because the dollar is so good. Went to have a look today at the BV10-46 in my lunch break and got a quote ;-) Why oh why, just 2 HDMI :-(

I think its time to go and have a chat about a BV-10 :-) But that has got me thinking will a lot of their products be updated shortly? I have lots of questions about BV's and whether i need a separate foxtel box still and can the card be inserted directly in to the tv.... hmmmm decisions decisions

Congratulations on your purchase. I'm also in love with the BV8 (and now the BV10). PrPbY I understand is also known as "component" and it is video only. SCART is a technology that is mainly European. We have it here in Australia but it's only rare. I liken SCART to composite plus audio in a square plug. If your DVD player has HDMI

  • BeoCom & Phone Lines

I'm confused... Can you good people help me shed some light on the BeoComs, bases, and lines. I received an e-mail the other day from B&O introducing the BeoCom 5 (albeit i thought it had been out for a while) and it got me thinking: > When B&O say it can handle 2 phone lines, does this mean it makes your one telephone number in to 2

  • Re: Beosound5 Encore

< /> I'm hoping for a BV8-40 as well. I need at least 3 HDMI. And it would be good if the screen was 200 hz

  • Receivers with BeoVisions?

Ordinarily you would need an AV receiver to power surround sound, 1. because you can connect 5 or more speakers; and 2. it does the decoding; but with Beovisions' as you can plug speakers in via powerlink, do you need a receiver? Therefore the cost of a BV8-40 is like the cost of a normal TV and receiver (cost neutral, good thing).
